What is Coaching?

Coaching is different from a counselling or therapy session. Coaching provides support to help you work towards a particular aim or goal, which could be either at home or in the workplace. A coach can provide you with a safe place to discuss any fears or concerns which may be holding you back and can give you the support and confidence you need to overcome them.

We feel passionately about people and the value that coaching can add to helping you reach your potential. We know first-hand how your complex work-based needs, ambitions and desires can impact your everyday life.

Together with you, we will focus on finding the most appropriate solutions to the issues you face. Solutions that are right for you.

How Coaching is delivered

 

We offer a professional specialist service, both independent and separate from your everyday life. All sessions are 1:1. If you are not able to get to the Wantage office, coaching services are also offered online through the Hope Network.

 

What to expect during your Coaching sessions

During your sessions, your coach will work with you to identify your aim or goal, and any blocks which are standing in your way. Sessions then focusing on your progress, understanding how to overcome the blocks and increasing your confidence levels.

 

As all of our coaches are trained mental health counsellors, they can bring in techniques from other types of therapy such as mindfulness, CBT and counselling to enhance your sessions and improve your outcome.
