What can a Dietician help with?
Our dietician focuses on the interrelated functions of the body’s systems. They look at how everything is working (or not working) together. Then seeking to identify and deal with the underlying root of the problem, rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
The goal is to promote food freedom and enjoyment, not food obsession and restriction. There is no one best diet and we do not believe anyone should be on a restricted diet indefinitely.
Combining optimal nutrition – paying attention to our fuel, nourishing our gut, and taking time for rest and repair. This gives us the best opportunity to do the things that matter the most to us.

What to expect during your sessions with the dietician
Before you begin your sessions, you will be asked to complete a set of intake questionnaires. This helps the dietician understand your individual circumstances. From there, the dietician may recommend additional tests to gather more information.
Together you will determine what approach to take. This can range from a one-off session to a thirty-day rest programme or longer-term support.
Our dietician is supported by trained mental health counsellors, who can bring in techniques from various types of therapy. This could include such things as mindfulness, CBT and counselling to address any blocks or psychological challenges to improve your outcome.
