Counselling

Hope Therapy & Counselling Services has achieved Organisational Membership status with the National Counselling Society (NCS). This means we undertake to conform to the Society’s Ethical Framework and Professional Standards.

We understand how nerve-racking these times can be and how it can affect people differently. As such, your counsellor will focus on your support and help you become ready to start the journey.

We have access to counsellors, therapists & coaches covering a large number of areas throughout England, so you may well be able to see us face-to-face wherever you are. However, we all offer Skype, Zoom and telephone support, so wherever you are, we will be able to work with you. People work with us from literally all areas of the country and, in some cases, from abroad.

We support clients one to one, together with couples counselling and family therapy or via group support, depending on what you are looking for support with.

Great sessions, our councellor was very helpful and knew how to get to the bottom of our issues and help us resolve them. We are very grateful for the excellent experience.

I was in a dark place.

Back in January 2017, I was in a dark place. Although married for 46 years, I could see that dissolving before my eyes. I was bad tempered, awkward and sometimes even out of control. That is where Ian came in. Now in November 2017 I am back in control! A weekly session and CBT techniques have conspired against the person I had become. But more than that, Ian was great in his role to get me to see how I could change. It was “do this” or “do that” it was suggestions and getting me to see a way out for myself. To make those changes and maintain them. Ian, I can never thank you enough for the second chance that you have brought to me. I am forever in your debt.
