Suz brings a warm, relaxed and people-centred approach to her counselling work, shaped by over 20 years of supporting people through change, challenge and personal development.

About Suz

Suz is a Trainee Psychotherapeutic Counsellor currently completing her Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Before beginning her counselling training, Suz built an established coaching practice and spent over two decades in senior HR and talent development roles within global financial services, where she supported individuals through transition, uncertainty and the pressures of professional life. This means she brings a deep, practical understanding of what it’s like to navigate change – whether that’s in your career, your relationships or how you feel about yourself.

Alongside her counselling training, Suz holds a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, is an ICF-accredited Coach Practitioner with over 1,300 client hours, and is a qualified NLP Practitioner. She also holds a Certificate in Understanding Autism and is a trauma-informed professional. This blend of training and experience gives her a whole-person perspective – she’s interested in you, your life, and what matters to you, not just the issue that brings you to therapy.

Suz’s style is relaxed, non-judgemental and always warm. She’s a skilled listener who creates a safe, supportive space where you can think, be heard, and explore what’s on your mind at your own pace. As a parent of three children, including lived experience supporting neurodiversity, she brings genuine understanding to conversations about difference, identity and the everyday challenges of family life.

Suz’s Philosophy

“I’m passionate about helping people feel more like themselves. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and resilience, even when it feels hard to access. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a safe and supportive space where you set the pace and I help you find your way forward.”

Suz views therapy as a collaborative partnership. She values your expertise about your own life and brings curiosity, warmth and care to every session. Her approach is strengths-focused and grounded in the belief that, with the right support, people are naturally capable of growth, healing and positive change.
