Hope Therapy is here to help you address the personal and emotional problems you may be experiencing, at this important time in your lives.
Proper, experienced Student Counselling can have many advantages for students:
You can be given support in dealing with a variety of emotional and psychological challenges that you may be experiencing. This in turn may make your college or university place more enjoyable and help you engage more fully with the experience.
You can be supported on working with a number of core life skills, that you can apply to many different future life situations, such as communication skills, conflict resolution skills and relaxation skills to name just a few.
What is student counselling with ‘Hope’ like?
Hope Therapy has a team of fully qualified counsellors who are experienced at working with a variety of student wellbeing issues.
To ensure your safety and to offer maximum flexibility for you, counselling is currently offered on a one-to-one basis via zoom.
We take things absolutely at a pace that is right for you, taking time to non-judgementally explore the issues that are of concern to you.
No two students are the same, so no two counselling sessions will be the same. We will take time to fully understand your unique problems and help you explore solutions that best meet your needs.
What if I want a counsellor from a specific background?
If you are looking for a counsellor with a specific background, such as male or female or someone experienced in working with questions such as sexuality or matters of diversity then we will always do our best to match you with someone with that experience. Simply let us know when you get in touch.
How long will I have to wait?
We will normally be able to put counselling support in place for you literally within a few days.
