On-Demand for Mindfulness Based CBT for Anxiety and Depression is a high value but low-cost option, that can either be used as an addition to one to one work or as a stand-alone product.
As part of this solution, you will get ongoing e-mail support via a qualified counsellor for the duration of the course.
What is CBT - On Demand?
CBT, or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, has been proved to help treat a wide range of emotional and physical health conditions in adults, young people and children. CBT looks at how we think about a situation and how this affects the way we act. In turn, our actions can affect how we think and feel. Through a self-guided online learning portal, you follow the lessons to learn how to change your behaviour, or your thinking patterns, or both.
Clients who choose to use the On-Demand option are provided with access to the portal, where the instruction is broken down into six modules. The system uses evidence-based teaching, the same as we use in our group and individual sessions. At the end of each section, there are home practise exercises that are designed to support the presentation that you are working on.
The modules are designed to require 1 - 2 weeks to complete. You must spend a minimum of one week on each module, to ensure you have time to process the learnings.
Overall, it is an easy, engaging and well-designed evidence-based programme.
Clients use them either on a stand-alone basis or to accompany individual sessions with a Hope Therapy counsellor.
