Practical one to one Counselling for Bullying

Bullying can affect people of any age, gender, race or colour. It can happen to people at school, at home and in the workplace. In fact, bullying can happen to just about anyone, in any situation and leave us feeling devestated.

Bullying at Work

According to a YouGov Poll (for the TUC), 29% of people have at some point been subject to workplace bullying.

A survey by UNISON showed that 60% of their respondents had either experienced or witnessed bullying in their job.

In 2015, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS), advised that their helpline received 20,000 calls per year about workplace bullying.

Student & Childhood Bullying

One study on bullying reported one out of every five (20.2%) students have been bullied. The same study reported that 40% of students said they believed it would happen again.

This all too common phenomenon can lead us to feeling vulnerable, anxious and out of control.

Bullying in my private life

Bullying can happen to men, women and children and by men, women and children. Partners, spouses, neighbours in fact just about anyone can be on the receiving end of bullying in a wide range number of circumstances.

Bullying can take many forms, including but not restricted to physical, emotional & verbal.

Bullies can often try to control their victims in a number of ways. They may try to isolate you from friends, family and peers, so that you feel you have no options available to you.

The silent treatment, controlling you through the children or your finances. Undermining your decisions and not giving you a voice are just some of the things people may do.
